Hey all! I did an exterior detail on my Mazda3 the other day & thought I'd share the pics. Sorry that the backgrounds aren't the greatest. I was running out of time because we had to leave to go pick up a couple new lab pups :) .

-Wash-
Meg's Gold Class
This is my favorite shampoo. While I've used DG #901 and liked it, Gold Class is still my favorite shampoo.

-Polish-
Cyclo Polisher w/Green Polishing Pads
I purchased the polisher a few weeks ago and have now used it a couple of times. This machine is so much better than a PC. It's heavier out of the box, but once you turn it on, it requires very little effort. Vibrations are much much less than a PC so my hands and arms don't feel weird after I'm done using it. The biggest difference is how much faster it goes vs. the PC. I wish I would have purchased this polisher a long time ago!!!

Optimum Polish
This is my go to polish right now because of the working time and ZERO dusting! I didn't need much in the means of correction so nothing more than this was needed.

-Wax-
DP Max Wax
I know I've said it before, but I aboslutely love this wax. For the $30 that it costs, I don't see myself going to anything different anytime soon.

-Windows-
Duragloss Rain Repel #751
This is a great product. I love using it on the exterior glass to help aid in beeding of water. It has a very slick feel when using it.

-Wheels & Wheel Wells-
Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Spray
I like aerosols for these kinds of areas. This is the only can of Meg's Hot Shine I've tried and I like it. Although, I took other's recommendations and purchased a half dozen cans of AA Tire Foam & AA Tire Gel for an upcoming F250 detail.

-Wheels-
Duragloss Aquawax #951
Another product that I love. This was the first time I've used it on the wheels. I did so because I was in a hurry. Normally, I would have applied PB Wheel Sealant. PB WS really makes my painted wheels shine. It'll have to wait until next time though.

-Trim-
DP Max Wax
Since Max Wax is such an awesome, non-staining wax, I thought I'd apply it to the trim. No staining what-so-ever and since it goes on and comes off like butter, application was a breeze. It has yet to rain but I'm interested to see what kind of beeding action I get on the trim.

Ok, on to the pics. Comments and/or questions welcome! Thanks for viewing!

Hey you got a Cyclo too nice  . I agree with you, I should have purchased the Cyclo long time ago.
By the way, I really like your write up very nice and very detailed...I love write ups. Good job buddy, and the vehicle looks wicked...such a nice gloss to it :awesome:

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I don't know what I would do w/o my Cyclo now that I've used it.

Like others, I try to emulate Justin's great write-ups!

Thanks again!

Looking good man!

Someone needs to tell Canadapost to hurry up with that box containing DP maxwax and my XMT360!!!!

With my luck, it will rain when it comes :(

Hey bossboy your in Canada too? Where abouts?

Great work!! Awesome reflections and popping flakes!!

Very nice job on that. I can see by your pics that you're somewhere where Spring is starting to happen too. Good luck with the new pups. Post of pic of them when you have a chance. I'm a huge sucker for puppies.

Beautiful work! Love the pop, the paint is standing tall! :applause:

Thanks for all the kind words everybody! It makes posting stuff like this so rewarding!

AL417,
We've taken about 300 pics so far since getting the pups Saturday. When I/my wife gets a chance to get the on the 'puter, I'll be sure to post a few!

Those are amazing reflections, and those blue pearls look sexy. Does the water repel make ur windshield wipers chatter?

Thanks klumzypinoy!

Today it's rainging and I've been driving around in it. The wipers work better now IMO, especially during heavy rain. They make no noise what-so-ever where as before, they made some. Also, I don't think it's nearly as good as Aquapel, but DG RR is a nice compromise.

Wow, what a great job. First of all the last two pics are awesome. Congrats!! I think I have to try MaxWax next.
