Long story short, I bought myself a new daily driver with all the bells and whistles. The Aura, while holding up extremely well with Opti-coat, just wasn't what I personally wanted for the daily commute. The next owner will wonder why the surface is still so glossy and why all dirt just seems to slide off of it.

Since I picked up the Lacrosse, I have been happy with the size, comfort, and features. (so darn quiet too) Over the past couple weekends I have been able to wash it and take care of normal tasks but not a deep down detailing session. Tinting is done, high performance oil change and filter done. Interior is Fabric Garded now by 303 Protectant. So here comes the next weekend and Nick was kind enough to send me a box of Blackfire to test on my new silver beauty.

Well Florida has seen nothing but rain and clouds for three days .... and a cold front is expected tonight once front finally moves on. I guess I gotta wait till vacation in a couple of weeks. Until then a wash and a spray product will have to surfice. Any ideas on "bright" sprays for silver metallics.

Hi Scott! I'm going to go for Reload and if not the DG AW

I used the XMT 360 Spray on my fiancee's silver RX 350 and it made the surface look really glassy. She even noticed how much of a difference it made the surface.

-Meg's UQW, UQD.
-If you have any KHGSG sitting around on your detailing shelves: Mix a little bit of it in either one of the above.

:)

blackfire total polish and seal - wipe off haze w/ blackfire poly spray
then crystal seal

so ez, no buffing, great shine

DG AW for the win. When I had a silver car I loved it !!!!

Another vote for Reload. The Klasse twins really make silver bright. Almost too bright in my opinion.
