This was one of my favorite details of all...paint wasnt in the best condition but i came to save the day :awesome:

wash
shmitt and megs shampoo

paint correction
megs swirl remover 2.0 with rotary and edge 6in blue pad

engine
wasnt pad so i hit it with some quick detailer and some polish in some spots

wheels tires
quick detailer and megs tire gel

wax
sig. ser. II ..made that flake pop!

My best friend in HS drove the same car in burgundy ... brought back some memories.

Great work!! Reminded me of my first car......77 Camaro that I bought in 1983. Nothing as fancy as that 70 Camaro with all the goodies!!
 
you did an awesome job... that paint really "pops"

how did you get the pics in the thread like that, instead of having to do the thumbnails?

Great work on a sweet car! That hood looks like it was a pain to polish with all those humps and bumps.
 
It's funny working on old paint and having your wool buffing wheel turn the colour of the paint..woops..showing my age!:)
