MUST SEE - The Ultimate in High Quality Car Washes

If that had happened to Skybaby, Corey would be posting from prison right now asking how to get acquitted of murder charges.

Sorry to see that happened, but at least now you've got a swirled-up car to test/review polishes on :buffing:

:iagree:HOLY Bat$%@#!!! "We wiped it with RAGS"!!! Corey Thank God it wasn't SkyBaby!!!

Thanks Dave!! You got that right buddy!!

Wow, you learn something new here every day...now I learned about pervious pavement/pervious concrete/porous concrete.

Yes, apparently they have been using it around trees for years but are now starting to use it to do parking lots. They put a layer of gravel beneath it and it's supposed to drain like 600 gallons per hour if I remember correctly. They didn't have any room for retention pond so they used this pavement for the whole front lot. Then with the puddles in the back which has regular concrete they decided to do as I noted earlier.

They drill a core sample after a few weeks and test it. They continue to drill a core once a year to test it for drain rate since dirt slowly ruins it's drainage rate. When a core comes back with a drain rate below the required amount they bring in a sweeper truck and vacuum the parking lot to suck all the dust out.

When they were pouring I asked what's up with the funny looking concrete? And he explained it to me. Then I saw them drilling that core a few weeks later... Thought maybe testing for how many lbs per foot load it takes so asked again and he told me about the drain test which was the reason for the core sample.

I'll take a picture of it so you can see what it looks like.

Oh! Google is your professor too? LOL

Wow...that's awful Corey I'm sorry!

Thankfully it wasn't Skybaby, but even still. I would have probably gave the guy a piece of my mind. I have trouble being nice to ignorant people sometimes...

You didn't blow up Corey because first and foremost, you're a nice guy. His intent was noble, but his logic was flawed. Like Setec suggested, now's a good time to practice your rotary skills.

I would be pissed. Should have showed him the swirls and had his company pony up on a gift card to autogeek to fix it.

I truly admire you for keeping polite. As much as I like to think I would be able to, I'm just not sure I would. :)

Yes, I have OC and CQ on that vehicle.

Phew at least you have something to work with there, at least on the OC parts. Assuming the scratches are not deep of course (haven't had a chance to see the vids yet).

Where is Team America when you need them.Durka Durka.
