(^Wheels are removed for cleaning)

Just received my order from Autogeek and can't wait to start detailing for real now. Over the years I always took extreme care of my vehicles as well as a few others. The kicker was I was using OTC products to do so and it just wasn't cutting it.
I always enjoyed hand washing/waxing my vehicles along with any regular maintenance but when I purchased my 10th Anniversary 2003 Cobra I realized I needed to step it up a notch or two to keep this already mint car in show condition.

I cannot wait to use and learn these new supplies and I hope I will have great results as I am attending the AM car show August 12th with over 800 mustangs! I need to get this thing perfect. Anyways, here are my new products any advice or tips are appreciated!

Nice order!

Get going on it ASAP in case you run into a problem. If you have any questions, post them up on the forum too!

Of what? Haha but thanks. And rider9195 I will get on that. Thanks!

For the trim, I am going over with OPC then CarPro Trix followed by Opti Bond Tire gel. Can I use 845 to seal or should I use spray wax?

What is it you are wanting to seal with the 845 and/or spray wax? The trim?

BTW, nice car. I love Cobras. :)

Chin spoiler, fog light housing/casing, side mirrors, cowl cover above hood, and rear lower valence above exhaust. All of which are black plastic-like material. Then, the rubber weather stripping on bottom of rear window and side doors. Thanks, I love the car as well. I was originally looking for DSG or Silver but the Torch Red grew on me and this car was too clean to pass up.

For the trim you can use 845. I would clean with OPC. Wipe it down with a damp microfiber towel to make sure any residue is removed. Then apply 845 thinly on the trim and wipe off within 30 seconds or else it will start staining the trim. It will give the trim a dark black look but no gloss. You could then apply Opti Bond over it for some gloss.

Perfect, this is exactly what I was planning on doing. I remember reading 845 is trim safe but I wanted to double check!

Nice collection of products.

I edited your thread and put some space between your pictures to force them to line up in a linear manner.

After inserting and image, simply hit the [Enter] key once or twice.

Very nice car. I'll follow this thread to see how the products work for you. I'm going to the same show with my 96 SVT Cobra Black. I love the red and it will be much easier to maintain than my black. Where are you located? I'm in Reading PA. C U There on the 12th. Dave

I am located right outside of Phillipsburg, NJ. Not too far from you! Thanks for the kind words

They did play very well together. I want to thank you Bobby for all your product suggestions and tips, it really helped and paid off in the end. I'm sure I will talk to you soon, might need a few more pointers as for another order! Haha

I'll look for you at AM on Sunday. I hope to buy an SCT TUNER W/ BAMA tunes. I'm hoping for some show discount. There's much more I'd like to buy, but the tuner will clean me out.
