Had a repeat customer drop off his 2010 GT for a complete coating job. Paint, glass, trim, wheels and tires were all coated. I got finished up late so the pics aren't the greatest. Will get some more when he comes to pick it up.

For this job I chose Cquk for the paint. Flyby30 for the glass and CQuartz Dlux for the trim and wheels. Tires got Turlewax wipe on Tire Coating.

This car was in really nice shape and really didn't need much correction work at all.

1. Wheels where decon with IronX. Tires de-greased with APC
2. 2 bucket method wash with Mothers carwash soap.
3. Paint was re-washed with fresh soap and Nanoskin fine wash mit.
4. Paint was Ironx'd
5. Glass polished with Ceriglass polish to prep for coating
6. After drying paint was clayed with Megs claybar and lube
7. After inspection a simple one step is all that was needed. For this I used my 3401 with a black CCS pad and SF4000
8. All surfaces (paint, glass, trim, wheels) were wiped clean with Eraser in preparation for the coating.
10. All surfaces were then coated. Cquk on the paint. Flyby 30 on the glass. CQuartz DLux on wheels and trim. TurtleWax tire coating on the tires.
11. Reload was then applied after curing in the garage.

Here are the after pics. Sorry for the quality as I am no photographer. LOL I uploaded the pics to my AG account but can't get them to show up in my post for some reason. I tried copying and pasting 2 different links and still nothing. So these are from my photobucket.

Don't mind the exhaust tips. They are shot and need to be replaced.

Looks nice! I'm still a little confused when people refer to an eraser wipe down. Where can I take a look at these?

Dlux is amazing on plastic trim. The owner needs to do something about those rusted rotors tho lol

Excellent work bro! :props:

So instead of an IPA wipedown, they use a product from CarPro called Eraser for wipedown.

CarPro Eraser Intense Oil & Polish Cleanser, IPA, paint cleaner, polish remover, wax remover

Beat me to it!!! LOL

Thanks man. This was my first time using the DLux and it delivered as promised! Yeah the car hasn't moved since being washed. Hence the rusted rotors LOL

I really love Dlux for the front grill, at least on my GT, tha always use to be a pain to clean, not anymore. Wow his rotors rusted that quick...

My rotors rust like that after every wash if it isn't driven immediately.

Think about it: it's bare, fresh iron subjected to oxygen and water.

It's very light surface rust that will be gone the first time the car is in motion and the brakes are applied. Not much that can be done to stop it, or really needs to be done. But I agree, it does ruin an otherwise spectacular looking finish photo.
