Mustang LX Exhaust Tips

Hey tyere!
My LX Mustang have a Flowmaster catback with factory-looking exhaust tip, except mine are in real stainless. From the factory, they ain't polished, but somewhere between a polished and brushed looks. Recently I changed my aluminium wheels to chrome one. They really stand out... Maybe a bit too much because now my tips looks dull. I was wondering, if they're real stainless, could I wetsand and polish them?

So they do not look like the ones in the picture. I just put a new flowmaster catback on my 92 LX notch and the tail pipes look like the ones in your pic.

They're the same as the pic. The tips are in stainless, but thei rest of the tailpipe are aluminized steel. I'd love to have a full stainless system so you could see the polished pipe running under the body from the longtubes headers, but the only one offered have too short tips that stop before the wheels.. Kinda ugly!
