Mustang saved (heavy oxidation)

I thank you all for your kind comments. To think 1 1/2yr ago without this site I would still be washing with 1 bucket, an old towel, and some Dawn dish soap. Im glad you all like my work, it makes it all worth while. Hopefully I will be getting more work like this soon as I love a challenge and like that a car can be brought back even from its worst.
 
I'm sure that the owner of that Mustang is very happy with your work and the fact that you transformed that horrible paint job into a work of art.

As the owner of a 2002 Mustang myself I also did a lot of paint correction and oxidation removal when I bought my car from a used car dealer in 2008. In fact, after I worked on it for a few weeks and came back to pick up my permanent tags he didn't recognize the car as the one he sold to me!

Nevertheless I did have it repainted and had some bodywork issues taken care of in 2010. I used a Maaco who did a super job with my car. It was a factory OEM clear coat paint job and it looks brand new. It was about 3 shades darker than when I had purchased the car but then I was looking at 8 years of paint fading.

The photos are a wonderful before and after testament to your patience and skills. You can be very proud of this amazing transformation.

Thanks, The paint on your Mustang looks great. Nice job on the upkeep sense the paint job vey nice Mustang :dblthumb2:
