Review
Let me say this before I start crying about this paste wax. All Duragloss products I’ve tried has been outstanding, they have some of the best product out there IMO. But this paste wax, I’m very disappointed. I thought paste was paste, it was not, it’s a liquid. Maybe I received a bad batch or all 104 is a liquid. For me this stuff sucks. I applied one panel at a time, let haze and tried to wipe off with my cobra indigo MM. It was like putting on the brakes. Sprayed some 951, help some, but it was still ruff. So I tried different MM, and my Poorboys MM and cobra deluxe MM work best. I thought about pulling out my belt sander to take it off.:D Other then that, the paint had a nice gloss to it.
Commits always welcome.

Sorry to hear about the DG wax Sparkie, but good to know for the future! Great review though, always enjoy the in-depth analysis!

Being more of a sealant guy I seldom wax but I can't help but wonder if that is the norm for DG104 or if it's an "off" batch?
The truck looks very nice regardless.

Wow, I know on another forum people had used it and I could swear when they posted pics its was hard like paste, though if I recall the wax seems to be the one product that doesn't get good reviews, basically everything else in the line rocks!

I wonder if its supposed to be liquid or hard?

I saw something on another forum and they also got a liquid filled jar of paste. Seems like Duragloss needs to do a little more homework on paste waxes.

Good job sparkie, was wondering about buying that wax, but ill wait intill someones know if its supose too look that way. I have the WheelWax, and that looks just like your wax, like liquid

Man that sucks with the wax... but the truck looks good

I have the same wax, and it's liquid, not paste. Haven't used it yet, but thanks for the heads up. I wil try buffing it off with E2K white pad and PC.

Is it supposed to be like a liquid wax or sealant but placed in a paste container? Considering how good their other products are, I'd love to see them come up with a real, nice paste wax.

If thats paste, I'd hate to see their liquid. Put it in a spray bottle and use it as a QD. Use that with a PC and it would be everywhere.

The wax sure looks more like a liquid especially at 42F. I would think it would be very hard at that temperature. With all the easy on easy off waxes out there that look great it does not sound like anything I would want to try. Thanks for the write sparkie. Your truck looks good.

It must have been frozen. I had a creame type wax once, that was left in the trunk over winter ,and it turned liquid and was very hard to wipe off. Call up Bill or Jerry at Duragloss and see what they say.

On another board some one asked me about the paste wax ..I told them it was like mayonaisse...and was hard for me to remove...dried very hard.

It gave a nice look..but to much work ...I use it on my wheels now...sorta a wipe on wipe off kinda deal...

It is not one of thier better products as far as easy application and removal..

would I buy it again...No...

They may have some new products out this year..and may send the 104 by the wayside..

Al
