My 18th trip to The Tail of the Dragon & Family trip combined!

Bad ass pictures. Great write up and it looks like your daughter loved it and really hung in there. I have a 5 (just turned 5) year old daughter, and doing this trip is a big thing in my opinion. Both on her end but more so yours. Lots of care, effort and love to do a road trip with a little one as a single parent. She will remember it forever.

Lol at the dump pic. Speaking of that zoo, my daughter fed the giraffe named Frances back in March when my wife and MIL went to visit very close family friends in Knoxville. Glad your daughter liked it as much as mine did.

So you had a religious experience hearing the Porsches, were you wearing your holy jeans that day? Lol! In all reality I understand exactly what you mean. I had a similar experience riding in the first big block car I’d ever been in (chevelle). There really is something about Porsches, but I’ve never been in one let alone driven one.

I need to make it down there for my own religious experience.
Come on out next year!

Thank you for thr kind words and sharing your family experience with me/us about Zoo Knoxville as well

About my jeans, that was a good one and I did infact have my "Joe Elliot" jeans on that day as well

Awesome trip for you and your daughter.

My biggest takeaway from your trip is your daughters experience, she will ALWAYS remember it for the rest of her life and cherish the memories of cruising down The Dragon with her dad!

Heck, in 20 years or so, you may be in an old folk home in The D and sitting in your chair drooling and mumbling something incoherent and your daughter will be there and saying something to the effect “remember when I was six and we drove The Dragon”?

That’s what I took away from your story....memories!
