So, the day AG indicated that the Meguiars UBTC was in stock, I purchased it and it was delivered Friday.

I was eager to put it on the test, to see how good this tire coating is.

I've been WAITING for this to be in stock, ever since i learned about it around SEMA time.

Anyways, I was washing one of my families car today, scrubbed the tires with 1 application of each product, CG Grime Reaper and Amazing Roll Off.

So the tires SHOULD be pretty clean at this point. I grabbed the MUBTC sprayed it on a MF Applicator, and tried wipe it on the tire.
Unfortunately it didn't work. I am not sure if the MF absorbed all the products or what is the problem, but when i tried applying it this way, nothing was going on the tire.

I didn't try it with other material applicators, because... i only bought 1 can lol. Couldn't afford to waste much or else i won't have enough for my own personal car.

So i sprayed it on, and obviously there was overspray. On rims and possibly the paint. I tried my best and wipe off whatever i can.
During the process of wiping the overspray, my MF towel some what touched the tires, and it smeared the MUBTC. So i resprayed that area and waited for an hour. The smear is still there.
I decided to do a finger test, it also smeared when i touched it with my hands.

At this point, i am unsure what the problem is. But i figure i'd share my 1st hand experience with this product with everyone here.

Your microfiber applicator most likely may have soak up the dressing but with this product I think its a spray, and leave it alone product, and also from begin a aerosol kind of product its solvent based aka greasy to prevent over spray tape off the area

Aerosol and tire dressing - never shall the two mix. Any tire product in an aerosol can is just a bad idea.

Sorry no pics, lol

Maybe i will get some when i work on the other set of 4 tires on the Mini

I agree. That's the only thing holding me back from this. Plus the fact Tuf shine lasts so long I don't see a point to using this.

I'm extremely happy with my D170:)
One gallon can make up to 5 gallons.
I dilute mine 50/50 so I get two gallons.
A little goes far so it's really cheap to use.

Picture time....

Geolander Tires are coated with Meguiars UBTC (1 Thin application)

Good Year Tires are coated with Tuf Shine (6 Coats of Tuf Shine, **Initial 2 -3 coats, did not do much, rubber just absorbed all the product w/o any affect**)

This is the "Smearing" i am talking about. At that time the coating was well past 1 hour.
