My 2002 Dodge Ram

Again with the Dodge "tailgate mirror". :D Awesome Job, LZ!!

Thanks to all, the work continues...

Thanks again all for the kind words and helpful information. I'm going to invest in the FMJ from Menzerna to see if there is a difference between that and the AIO from Klasse. I think I'll also go for a carnauba wax as a topper to see if that adds to the depth of the black compared to the Sealent.

Now that I've got enough experience on the truck, I'm moving on to the MB SLK, also in black of ocurse. I'll report back. Here is abefore shot. The paint is in nice shape. It is a 2001 though, and there are some minor issues to deal with, including rock chips on the hood. One of the draw backs to living in AZ. Gravel everywhere.

Here is a "before" shot....

WOW! I'm not big on aftermarket wheels as they often tend to "cheapen" a nice car, but that is an excellent choice in wheels!!! What kind are they?

Thanks P1et. They are Falken and the model is Koblenz. They come in either full chrome, or "machined" which are the ones I have. I had MB center caps made (seen on the first pic of the car) to complete the look.

I cant wait to see that benz!

*Mysterious voice says Souveran......Souveran......Souveran.....*

Here is the MB

I posted the pictures in the DuraGloss thread too, because I used the DG Clear Coat Polish as well as the leather treatment. Also de-badged the deck lid while I was at it. I ommited the AIO this time, and used the CCP from DG after the Finishing Glaze from Menzerna. Afterwords used the DG Quick Detailer which adds slickness and makes it appear darker. Still don't have Souvrean Carnauba though....that would probably be the cherry on the sundae.

Very nice, LZ!! So the only DG products you used on the exterior were CCP and the DG QD? What are your thoughts of DG, so far? It looks great! Didn't top if off with AW? Just wondering. I'm thinking of trying the Bonding Agent, with CCP and AW later.

After using the CCP, I didn't think the AW was necessary, where as the QD spray has an ultra slick finish to it, which BTW, the CCP does not have. I've tried the paste wax from DG, and it has been relegated to the back of the shelf. It is too difficult to apply and get a streak-free finish.

The car wash is great though, as are the other products I've tried from DG. Funny you mention the bonding agent.

I bought this as well, but have yet to try it out. I don't know why, but haven't.
