So i picked up a bottle of Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 last week. I gave my truck a nice clean with a orange pad and Megs Swirl remover 2.0, Then i put on the wolfgang sealant and the next morning I topped it off with the Wolfgang Fuzion. Here are a few pics after I was finally able to take it out of the garage cause the weather was decent today. Not the best cause I stopped at my buddies and used my PC on his Legacy so he could Seal his paint as well.

Nice. Did you clay first and did you finish down with a finish polish and pad? An orange pad is pretty aggressive.

no i didnt clay it...I just clayed it a few weeks ago and the truck is a garage queen..probably has seen under 100miles since I clayed it. No polishing pad either...It did not leave any marks..that Swirl remover is pretty low on the cutting power.

If it didn't leave any hazing or miro marring I guess your good to go. Normally after using an orange pad, most will finish with a lighter polish and a white pad. Some will go a step further and jewel/burnish with a finishing polish and a grey/blue pad.

the first time I tried it on my truck..I used a white pad and that swirl remover..and it didnt remove anything at all. So I think the combo of the low cutting power of the compound and the orange pad work well for me. It didnt leave anything but a silky looking finish..I have to say my truck has never looked better after using these wolfgang products

Glad you found the right combo. Do whatever works for you.

Im with Rsurfer on this that orange pad no matter what the product is prone to micro marring. I would of finished with a White pad for sure on number 3.

Sorry for the bump but that is a good looking truck. That speedway blue is a good lookin color.
