This was exhausting. Close to 24 hours of work over the course of four days. It's a big truck :buffing:. I've only done serious detailing like this a couple of times and this was by far the most I've ever done. I do have a small issue with the final wax but I'm going to post about that next in the detailing forum.

Feedback is welcome

Here's what I did:
Exterior

  1. Wash - meguiars nxt car wash
  2. clayed all surfaces including wheels and windows
  3. polish - menzerna power finish
  4. polish - menzerna po85rd
  5. IPA wipedown
  6. sealant - 2 coats of wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant
  7. wax - pinnacle souveran paste wax
  8. Klasse AIO and Klasse HGS on headlights. Klasse AIO on all windows
  9. wheels - polished with turtle wax chrome polish, then Klasse AIO and HGS
  10. tires - 2 coats of wolfgang black diamond tire gel
  11. running boards and trim - F21 super protectant
Interior (not a lot of work needed on the inside)

  1. vacuum
  2. F21 super protectant
  3. wolfgang leather cleaner
  4. wolfgang leather conditioner

Detailing a large SUV is no easy task and the fact that it's black makes it that much more difficult a job, but you really hit a home run with that job. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
