My 2010 Silverado Weekend Detail and a few new tools

Wash, clayed the front end (as this was the only area I havent done this spring), and put some Collinite 845 down this past weekend. Also got the metro sidekick about a month ago, it is great for blowing out water from the door handles, mirrors, rims, etc. Saves alot of drying time. Very easy to handle with one hand, also very powerful too.

Also picked up a tailbone seat not to long ago. It is great very comfortable to work in and rolls around great.

I picked up a Tailbone in February, sure makes getting around a lot easier with those big wheels.

BTW, your truck looks good even if it's silver. I bought a new car last year and made sure it was white.

I really do like the dark vehicles but I said I would never own another one. My last truck was dark blue. PITA to keep clean. When it was clean it looked great. Silver is much easier to care for as I only get to wash it every few wks and its my daily driver. If I had something that sat around (2012 ZL1 camaro?) it would be black.

Oh yea the cleanness didnt last long, had a pretty good storm roll through this morning

I'll tell ya, thats why I put off doing my dads black truck. But once it's clean it looks great, but give it 2 or 3 days and that's done. Haha that's why I own a white car

Can you dry your whole truck with the metro?

Yes for the most part. I do section by section on the truck not all at once. First I wash the hood, front window front end and front fender. Then move onto the drivers front and rear door then the drivers side bed and tailgate and so on. After I blow it off there is usually a little water left so I take a drying towel and wipe down. It is very minimal. I will also take a microfiber glass towel and hit the windows. It does a better job than my air compressor did IMO.
