I'm not very good at doing these write ups but I'll give it my best. Let me start off by saying don't take any advice from me , this is only my second time using my PC 7424xp. I have learned many things from this forum and bought some really good stuff.
With that said, I had a few challenges with this detail. I ran out of Wolfgang total swirl remover, didn't have enough pads, and was worried about how thick the paint is.
I ended up finding M105 at Auto Zone and used it on the side panels. I had just enough of the WGTSR for the hood and roof.
I tried to clean the pads on the fly with not much success. When I was using the M105 it would stick to the panel and was really hard to get off. I had to end up spraying it with water and wipe it off. So I have learned a lesson there, have plenty of pads. Some of my old pads lost the backing and thats why I was short on pads.

Here is my mobile storage cart for car washing and detailing stuff. I live in my starter home with no garage, I have never really need a bigger house.

Starting with the wheels I used Mothers foaming wheel cleaner, I like this more than the Sonax.

The wheels had scratches all over them so I used some WGTSR on them, I probably could have done better with them but the process was not easy and I was running out of daylight.

I finished them up with some DP wheel glaze

Looks good and great write up to go with it, just curious where did you get that cart at? Excellent before, during, and after shot pictures of the wheel process. Result turned out good. After a while you will giving advice the more you learn, trust me.

I started with back bumper cause that was going to need the most work due to contaminates all over it. I really wish I knew what it was from.

I used Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit, I've used clay before but never have I gotten this much junk off of something before. Not saying the Meguiar's made a difference in how it worked but just this particular car leaves lots of junk on the back end. I hear it from other owners.

Thanks, Lowes has the best and biggest one I could find.

The trunk was in bad shape too with those contaminates

But more claying and the Wolfgang twins worked its magic.

The rest of the car was not that bad, I ended up claying the whole car and use the WolfGang system on the car (except for the sides where I used the M105 with 2nd WG step) I finished the car with a dawn wash then dry and 1 coat WG deep paint sealant. this week I'm going to do another coat on the entire car then top With Fuzion.

Great job on the car. I really like those BMWs.

I would like to see another picture or two of your cart you have.

I'll have to get some tomorrow it's dark and I only took the one.

Not a big fan of white on most cars, sans the 930 turbo's but for some reason all M3's (E30/36/46/92's) all look great in white! When I see a white one I can't help but to think about how cool it looks with the tri M colored stripe over the d/s fender or the broken checkered flag in the tri M colors there, either one looks right at home on the white M3's.

Can we see some overall shots of the car, feel free to #####, surely we don't mind!

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

Great job:) My only suggestion is pick up some MF pads you don't need a lot of them. I can use 1-2 on your cars size and just get a pad brush or compressed air to clean them every panel takes 5 sec to clean them.

great job!!! my s2000 has problems of a lot of contamination on the rear bumper too :( kind of annoying only takes a week and it already has a decent amount of bonded contamination
