Process was:
Washed with DP Extreme and foam gun.
Polished with my new Metoba with LC Black Pad Using 106ff using 1200 RPM for the first pass then slowed down to 700 RPM to finish.
When over hood with Edge White WOOL pad with 106ff.
Went back over the hood with LC Black and 95rd to get the Spider Web that the white wool left -- oops
LSP was two coats of VW by hand and I do mean using the bare hand to apply.

This car is cherry red and the yellow tint only shows up in pictures. The color in the last picture is probably the closes to the what you would see in person.

Looks awesome! Big block Chevy in a Ford, huh? Two coats of Victoria's wax? For a minute I thought VW was for VolksWagen.

Those are tail lights. The lens are flush with the metal.

I had to get out the Sony Pocket camera - I also have a Canon A640 and they were almost all bright yellow. Shade seems to be fine just in the sun. I don't have a clue.

It is Victoria's wax more of beauty wax with some really high oil content.

You got the Chevy part right but it 350 CID and 350 Auto behind it and Ford 8" rear end.

Must be the cleanest car ive ever seen, it looks insanly shiny......

The paint is so bright that your camera cannot capture it well enough it seems like. Fantastic work!

supercharged It is very common to find a Chevy 350 in a 40-older Ford model. Now in a late model Mustang it is frowned apon by most Ford folks. I and a small hand full think it's awesome when Ford folks think outside the box.

Wow that paint is insanely glossy and wet :D That engine must be insanely hard to detail!

You are right and here is a couple of reasons... The Chevy 350 block is quite a bit shorter than the say the Ford 305 or 351 so you don't have to move the firewall back or as many mods. Also the price, a Chevy 350 with the same HP is about half or third that of a Ford plus parts are easy to come by.

The engine can take some time -- I don't own a trailer so it get driven a lot. We are going to midnight car show about 300 miles round trip this weekend so I will be cleaning again on monday.:D

Looks great!

As far as the color of the car, it's because of the bright sun. I get the same thing on my red convertible. If your camera has manual settings you need to adjust the aperture and/or shutter speed so that the camera takes in less light. Changing the white balance may also help.

Wow man!Youve done a great job!Nice choice of paint.I have seen those used on Ford racing.:applause: Your paint looks fresh and very fantastic.I love it!:awesome:

That car is so sweet.. Great job, she looks beautiful. Got any inside pics? I would love to see them.
