I picked up a brand new Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Sport a couple weeks ago... found a black/black at a local dealership and snatched it right away!

Thanks to the awesome flat-rate shipping discount 2 weeks ago and the 20% off september forum discount, I restocked my garage with everything I needed to start from scratch ... pads, MFs, products, etc. Spent a couple hundred ... best investment on the car after tint ;)

I used Griot's Car Wash to give it a good clean then followed up with the Klasse Twins. I only have one layer of SG on there now, but I sure remember why I always loved the pair!

Some notes... I absolutely love the P21S foam applicator pads to use w/ Klasse (the MF pads that came with the klasse kit seemed to mar the paint for some reason). I used Sonus Spritz to help stubborn areas where I caked too much SG. Cobra plush Gold MFs worked excellent in buffing off, too!

You going to add another layer of Klasse SG soon?

Good job on the Q. That should really be a G but Infiniti wants to be like Mercedes.

Tell us about the car...I think few customers will opt for the hybrid, but I think it's a great idea...so how is it? How is the mileage?

Great job. Those 3 are good products and work really well together. I recommend you do 1 or 2 more coats if ksg.

I'm averaging 27mpg atm ... but I am not making use of the hybrid; still joy riding it with heavy commute. I'll have a better feel for it in a couple more months with more traveling.

The technology in the car is amazing ... dual touch screen, lane assist, crash assist ... the car brakes for me and keeps me inside my lane when I turn it on. The Hybrid has an extra 30HP ... 360HP total in a Hybrid. Not bad :)

I took the car to a Depeche Mode concert on Thursday (the day after I detailed) and ended up in the dirt parking lot ... here's round 2 of Klasse SG:

2 bucket setup ... notice the grit guard in one of them. That's just an insert you can get for $10 and works great to agitate a wash mitt against to get rid of dirt in the water-only bucket to rinse off before dipping into the soapy one.

Washed and ready for second coat of Klasse SG...

Car is "cloaked" ... front half layered up with second coat of SG...

Had to take a trip up the hillside and snapped a quick pic of final result (forgot the tire shine!)
