Did anyone ever solve the linting problem on Cobra Micro Fiber Towels. I want to buy some on my next order but I don't want to invest in linting towels. Did Autogeek take care of you guys with the problems of linting.

Hello all,

We import hundreds and thousands of towels so ocassionaly there may be a batch that produce lint. If you have purchased any of these towels recently, please contact me at [email protected] with your name and order number and we will take care of you.

Keep in mind that towels that perform great when new but start to lint a year later may just be wearing out. We recommend using a product specifically for cleaning microfiber to ensure the longest life and best performance from your towels.

Sincerely,

Dwayne

Thanks Dwayne, excellent customer service by AG as usual!!!

In your opinion, what is the best product specifically to wash your MFs with?

One more thing to check for if you have a problem with lint on your MFs. Is the lint trap on your drying being cleaned out regularly? I admit, I once through in some MF after a load of regular towels and forgot to clean the lint trap...

I've had my Cobra Jrs since February, so I don't know if I can be helped :(

I think I've had mine since Feb/March as well, can anything be done to help our situation if we purchased them that long ago?

Here's a pic of how my Cobras lint now...

I only wash them with other "boutique" microfiber and air dry them, so I'm thinking these simply might have been a bad batch?

Thanks,

Pete

That's possible. It wasn't very recent but it was around February when I bought them.

Mine were bought in late march or early april I believe.. Never been in the dryer, so its not a dryer problem. But yeah, the last time I used them, it looked almost exactly like the picture above. Had to rewash and swap to a megs MF to get the job done.. I'm going to try and rewash again and see if there wasn't a problem there, but there was absolutely nothing in the washer last time but cobra MFers.. I always wash them seperate.
