This past Saturday was BimmerFest at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena CA. I drove out their and back in the same day. I got on the road at 05:00 and made it to the show at 09:00 despite some stop and go traffic and detour to a different highway in CA.

Anyways here are my pictures. There were so many cars I couldnt see all of them within the same day. With just under 2000 vehicles and over 4700 people it was a big event.

Here are the stats of what was registered.

It was pretty flattering to see a car that I detailed put on display in the vender area. This was for the vender LTMotorWerks. This time it has a new front clip. Looks good Mike! :props:

Alpina b7. I couldnt get enough of this car. Very rare. BMWNA brought this out along with the previous M6. I overheard the price was 160 large for this giant sedan....

The valve stem is actually in the center where the lugbolts are. One of the spokes is hollow to allow air to fill the tire. This gives for a clean overall look....

Hope you guys enjoyed the thread. I have another show this weekend to do. Mfest. Do you guys want coverage of this event as well???? :)

Thanks for the coverage of the event.

I need to go to one of these event someday. As a spectator and not as a participant since my car is not tricked-out. :props:

It was a great time.

Traffic was messed up all day on the 210 because of this I'm sure.

Thanks for the coverage of the event.

No problem sir.

Did you come down and spectate this year?

no.... I need to go one of these days. I am trying to convince the wife to go to Vegas in June.

No old school 2002tii's, M3's, etc? I guess I'm showing my age. I had Mustangs and Saabs back in the early 80's but always drooled over the late 70's early 80's 2002's, 3 series, Alpinas etc.

There were a plenty. Most of these pictures were from the vendor area.

I guess I am showing my age as well. Lol. I'm 28.

Great job Mike - some really stunning cars there. Definitely love to see coverage of the next event!

:dblthumb2:

It is truly amazing how someone can take a beautiful car and turn it into a rice mobile! At least a handful of them were tastefully modified.

Thank you!! There were a lot of beautiful BMW's there. Will do for this weekends event.

True. To each there own. Some are overly done.

I am a fan of the OEM+ look. Thats why mine isnt over the top.

Great pics Mike. I am still drooling over that M6 GranCoupe.. I still need to go through my pics.

Hahahahahaha love it Mike!! thanks! It couldn't have come at a better time! I am looking at getting this plate! View attachment 18327 but of course it's for an AMG.

Sure thing buddy. Get ahold of that plate!

Definitely some stunning cars. Excellent pictures. Thanks for sharing.

No problem.

I would like a m3

Who wouldnt?

Great pics Mike. I am still drooling over that M6 GranCoupe.. I still need to go through my pics.

Thanks Jace. That car along with the b7 was stunning.

It was a great time at BimmerFest wouldnt you say?

Great coverage and pictures Mike!!! Thanks for sharing.

Did you tape up your front end to protect it from bugs/rock chips? What did you do to clean up your ride when you arrived at the event?

Awesome coverage Mike... the pictures are so good I feel I just walked the show...

I showcased a BMW at Bimmerfest back in 2002 and it looks like it's really grown since then...

:dblthumb2:

Thanks Mike. Hope you enjoyed it.

It really has grown. I'm sure counting the non registered vehicles as well it was over 2000 and close to 5000 people. There is no way to see all of them in one day.

Great coverage and pictures Mike!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Marc!!!

I didn't do anything other than wax it. After that 233+ green tape would hardly stick. So I didn't bother. Luckily just a pair of minor rock chips in the Alpina lip. Probably from being to close to the ground. Although a few triple digit runs didn't help either.

When I got their I didn't do anything to it either as the show was just starting and my black paint was really hot. So I just left it and grabbed my camera and started walking the event.

Nice job. I enjoyed your pics and look forward to the pics of the next show you attend.

Although I do not own one, I've always admired them.
