Nice collection, were did you get your spray bottles?

(picks jaw up off the floor)

...Do you truly notice an appreciable/measurable difference between a good solid $30 carnuaba paste wax, and the $175 Fuzion wax?

Also, why the fridge for the waxes - and what are your thoughts on the Zymol and Liquid Glass 'Carbon' (Teflon) waxes, and are they worth all hype and money?

Thanks for sharing your collection, great pictures. I would get confused with some many overlapping products though.

-About the $30 and $175 wax , there's a big difference between a turtle wax and fuzion. Don't you think?

-About the fridge
Almost every wax contains a solvent , to keep the carnauba smooth. In the summer in my detailspace the temperature is a bit to high and makes the wax sweating. On a longer term the quality wil going backwards. So to prevent that i keep it in the fridge at te lowest position.

-Zymol worth the money? I don't know yet ! I'll had to test it first.:xyxthumbs:
I'll never judge a product without testing.:buffing:

Thanks for the reply! Regarding the Fuzion and other carnuaba paste waxes - I don't personally know if there is any difference, I would absolutely assume so, but to what degree? I'd like to see two cars, same model and color, in person... with a $30 wax and a $175 wax applied, and see how many people can visually tell a clear difference. If I spent $175 on a wax (even $50!) I'd be sleeping on the couch ;)

The wolfgang Fuzion is a mix of carnauba and sealant ingrediens. With a good paint preparation , like polishing the Fuzion sits a least 6 months. Keep always in mind that 90% of your paint gloss is the preparation. The wax is just the cherry on the cake.:hungry:
High-priced waxes doesn't contains cleaners or fillers.(most of the time) So you can double layer the wax for a longer and a higher gloss.:xyxthumbs:

Mmmm, carnuaba cake!

Thanks for the great explanation :)

Like a fine red wine, 55 degree's is optimal for decades of storage. 40-42 degree's may be a bit on the cold side

Holy cow! You even have more stuff than some of the shops here..lol. Do you get to use all of those?

OMFG. So you obviously detail for a living right? because you know, otherwise that collection makes you seem crazy LOL but i guess everyone here is crazy abotu this stuff, me included

Since you are way more qualified than anyone to suggest some favorites, seeing as you've tried everything ever made lol

Could you list your favorites for each catagory (each step in a 5 step paint cycle)? Are there certain products you use when you're lazy and certain products you use when you're doing the most thorough job possible? Especially curious about glaze and LSPs, but if you have time I'd love to hear about your favorites for every step out of your current collection. Thanks :)

For the most part would you say that when it comes to detailing, any decent brand will yield similar results? Perhaps some brands require more time polishing than others, or maybe a different pad polish harshness combination, but ultimately the final product is similar? Or would you say you've had really different experience with different brands? Obviously you love to try new products, but do you Actually find better stuff that has better results, or is it just kind of a fun thing for you to do?
