My Detailing Packages...suggestions

I m thinking instead of "Additional Exterior/Interior Services", I will use "Express Exterior/Interior Upgrades/Upcharges" to limit confusion.

Thanks again to everyone who gave their opinions. This has been VERY helpful!

As an add on to a detail package neither sound unreasonable. Im not going to drive to someone and ONLY remove pet hair for $15 or extract their carpet for $50. Im considering putting "Starting at" before all the additional services prices....or possibly no prices at all.

That would be my suggestion. I have two golden retrievers that ride in my wifes car constantly. Let me tell you, it's not fun cleaning all that hair out. Takes me well over two hours to get it out of the crevices with a fine grade pumice stone then vacuum it up.

With carpet extraction, you're going to be dealing with another process that is going to take some time especially if you aren't working with a professional grade extractor.

Just my $.02

This is just a personal thing for me, but I honestly don't engage in business with any business that's not upfront about their prices on their website when it's the norm of the industry. Pretty much the only way I use them is if they have a killer reference (which is what we're all trying to get :) ).

I have detailed RVs for quite a few years and have a pretty good method worked out. Rubber pet hair brush and fabric softener are key!

Ive been using a Mytee Lite II for a few years now and have a pretty efficient system worked out there as well. The only draw backs Ive found with the Mytee are 1. Small solution/recovery tanks make me stop and refill more often than Id like, and 2. The suction isnt that great especially when the recovery tank starts to get full or fuzz/hair start to clog up the filter. Ive had problems with water flowing from the hose back onto the carpet on occasion. For these reasons I am thinking of purchasing the Spyder HP60 for its larger tanks (6 gallon vs 3 gallon) and greater water lift (137" vs 85")

I completely agree. Word of mouth is where its at. I am going to offer "referral discounts" to my customers in an effort to grow my business at the beginning. Something like "Recieve 20% off of your next Express Detail for every referral that purchases a detail package of equal or greater value. 5 referrals= Free Express Detail".

All these suggestions I decided to update my pricing info.
I found that I was doing more work and not pricing accordingly.
I also added a Supreme Detail.
Prices are based on what I feel comfortable with & the services I am offering.
Check it out and let me know what yall think & any suggestions are appreciated

Get rid of that $15 wash. NOW!!!!!
Please put 5 car minimum nest to it or something. People who call for that wash WILL NOT be up-sold.

Other than that looks good!

Its gone! It will only be on fliers for office buildings, hospitals, etc. 5 car min is what I had in mind.

Do your prices differ by compact/ sedan/ SUV as well as neglect of vehicle? I did not see that mentioned. Otherwise, great and organized setup and site!

You don't want the customer to feel like you lured them in with $15 for a wash only to be charged $20, that's a bad place to start building a customer base.

I think starting at $20-$25 is fine. Sometimes you will have an easy one, sometimes the car will be in bad shape needing additional care (and an opportunity for you to suggest more work).

Why don't you just offer one thing to start out. Pick a package that you feel fills a niche of what most people want and do it well.

In your menu don't list "cleaning door jambs" You do that because you are a professional. The average person washing their car in their driveway doesn't do that. That's why you have your car detailed and the detailer always seems to do a better job.
