My experience correcting with CarPro Essence on my Miata

I played around some more with Essence today. This time on some black Mercedes paint.

As you can see the finish was pretty neglected and could use a little glossing up.

A Meguiar's microfiber pad on my G21 and GG6 with a 3 inch plate and the same type of pad made quick work of a majority of the defects.

There was a bit of hazing leftover from the MF pad.

A couple of passes with a black LC foam pad took care of the haze and left a very nice finish.

Not bad at all! Will be finishing the rest of the car later today.

Really impressed with your results, especially with Mercedes paint leaning on the hard side.

Id be interested in seeing what kind of correction you can get with the Flex 3401 and an orange or blue Hybrid pad.

doing initial cut with MF, then swapping to a white or black pad and finishing with 2 final passes really does the trick for a "1-step"

next car i do this on, i will go over the whole car with MF, and then go over with a white or black pad. (instead of doing section by section) shouldn't need any additional polish other than a few dots to prime pad initially.

Yes, this worked out very nicely! I did work panel to panel but I hardly needed any additional product to get awesome finishing results.

Thanks Mike! I actually finished the C300 but didn't take any more progress pictures. I'll try and upload some of the final result photos later.

I'll hopefully be working on a G35 tomorrow which will serve as a good candidate for some testing with the Hybrids. Stay tuned!
