My neighbor has been asking me since he first saw me working on my firebird if i would detail the exterior of his car for him. He owns a mid 90's Infinity I30. For this i started with his wheels. They were nasty and i just used some general wheel cleaner with a wheel brush. I got almost all of it off but since i dont like useing wheel acid(i dont buy it) some of the brake dust is still there. Next i washed the infinity with meguiars gold class soap. Spot clayed the car on bottom of the doors and rear bumper to remove road grime. Then i taped off all the moldings and lights. They i applied KAIO with a white 5.5inch CCS smart pad with my pc on 4. Wipped every panel as i went along. After that i used a polish called Glare professional Polish. I used it once last year and figured id give it a try since it gave me car a great glossy finish. I worked that in with a gray 5.5 CCS smart pad at 4.5 to the point where it was basicaly gone as the directions said. Very little if not any residue was left. This brought some depth in the paint. After that i applied vitreo by hand and let it haze for 20 minutes and i wipped off. Then i pulled all the tape off and cleaned the exterior of the windows with stoner. My neighbor is very happy with the results and so am i.

This is the finished product after KAIO, Glare, & Vitreo

Well I do not think you will get a year...you will get 3-4 months..its pretty durable stuff...I bought it on a whim and have been pleased with it....reminds me of UPP in a way...

DG 105 will get you a few more months....did me all winter and still some parts of the truck still have it on..lol..I just polished a few sections to test a few products on ...I need to get a junker so I can use as a test bed...lol.....

the weather here has been crazy..warming in April than in May...May here feels like fall so far..cold and rainy...my truck needs a complete polishing and sealing ..as soon as warmer weather comes

Very nice job! By the way, that's not Q45, that's an I30...I've got the same one (daily driver), also white, but with touring package (different wheels, easier to clean)...
