My first F150 after Mike's class at Griots Garage

Well Mike told us to keep practicing after the Road Show class. So today I got the opportunity with my daughter's 2018 F150. Wash was easiest part and learned how to get wash bucket a bit closer to use the wash mop. It was a sunny and hot day so worked fast and got it into the garage for the GG Final Sealant. When I inspected the hood to do my test spot I found a large scratch patch and several smaller ones. Later I found out that a raccoon used the truck to get into the trash bins. On well, thanks to Mike's method I tried a few pad and switched up to GG Correcting cream and diminished the bad spots. The finished up the whole truck with the Fast Sealant and followed up with the Poly Wax. I am pleased with the results and the daughter was delighted to have the scratches removed. Thanks Mike for for teaching at the Road Shows. FYI, i am a hobbyist, and I can understand why the up charge from you pros when doing trucks.

That looks great!

Just to let you know---The first time is the hardest on the body. As you do more cars, you'll find it gets easier, you'll become more relaxed and it'll feel less taxing on the body.

Very nice work.

As stated before you will be more relaxed. The first time it did my truck I was worried the paint was going to fly off. LOL

I got quicker each time I did a vehicle.
 
Thank you all for the words of encouragement. It turns out to be a great workout and someday perhaps get a little extra income while having fun.
 
Looks awesome. I have a 2016 F150 (ruby red) that I detailed after taking Mike’s class in June 2018. I even took out some scratches using 3000 grit wet sanding. I can’t wait to seal the entire truck this fall. Was thinking ceramic coating it but that would really be a job ( and I do not have a garage that it would fit in for the coating)
