I received some SSR1 @ SSR2 on my last order and my darling wife prompted me to try it on the ugly scuff mark that I created on the Mazda. Yes, she was sure to point out that I did it.
I got up the courage after reading and watching the video and took the challenge. After all, I'm a pro painter so I told myself the worst that can happen is a repaint of the door.
This scuff was a result of a backer board(ceramic tile board) that was leaning against my Mazda without my knowledge. Really, it was. I backed out of garage and...oops
Considering the scuff, I started with the SSR2. Light pressure.
Before
First Try consisted of about 8 very slow horizontal and short vertical passes. SSR2
Scuff is barely visible now.
Second pass same as the first.
Third step. Polished with 3M Pro Finish and topped with MaxWax.
I did it! I'll be showing that off tonight! Or maybe she'll notice when she walks by.
Thanks to all for the past conversations on corrections and to Meghan for her ESP.
