My garage project

If your using the rust oleum floor kit make sure you get the "professional" solvent based epoxy kit. It will last much longer. I've used it in 2 garages that get heavy use and have not had any peeling issues.

Also consider the solvent based epoxy clear, it makes clean up much easier and looks great.
 
For that cabinet I would HIGHLY recommend to take the stock shelves out and make some new ones out of MDF or some other heavy duty wood. They are VERY VERY weak. I have one and under the load of a couple spray bottles the shelves eventually buckled.
 
I still haven't coated the floor. but build this
 
was thinking of polishing the floor and coating in gloss coat. I did buy a floor coating kit from HD but after seeing some reviews I returned it.

I agree. I'm moving towards getting everything in my garages and workshop either mounted off of the floor, or on wheels.
