My gf might b leavin cuz i yelled at her 4 drying MF towels

I really don't understand why you guys are afraid to use high heat, I've washed a gazillion MF's and none of them have melted. Never set any of my clothes on fire either.

We went through this on another forum with a textile expert who was just laughing at us and quoting the melting temps of the various plastics that MF's are made from and what temperatures dryers get to. IIRC he was saying that MF's were more resistant to heat than many clothing fabrics.

:iagree:, although I use medium heat.

If she's that hot then use the towels for a more important type of cleanup.

I was a jerk to my fiance for doing the same thing to my towels and i cut them up and made "paper"flowers out of them and gave it to her. We had a nice make-up detailing session.

Good luck! :props:

Towels are easy to replace....friends not so easy...

My wife washes them seperately and then they go into the dryer w/o softner sheets, ofcoarse. That said, never had a problem:thumbup:

The fact that she didn't throw in a fabric softener sheet means she's a keeper. 1-800-FLOWERS and you might want to spend more than $70.

What's this "might be leaving" stuff?

Show her the door, but be a gentleman and open it for her at least... :D

I had the same towel-issue with a Wife.
I carped over, what seemed to her: minor details.

I told her we would have exactly one discussion about how I would perform all of the MF-towel chores; and that I would not be changing a single thing about how I prefer to do them.

Negotiations occurred; details hammered out.
Return of marital bliss? No...Not with that Wife.
I'll just add that: More, much more, than $70
worth of towels...went out the door.

Historical Footnote:
I did learn from that mistake. :D

 I can relate to that Bob!

And I'll throw in that Mrs07 will NOT wash my MF towels and she will NOT dry my MF towels ( which really is a good thing HA)

I am NOT allowed to touch HER washer or dryer!

when I need to wash towels.........she opens the door and I throw them in.....I add mf detergent and she closes the doors and pushes the buttons......LUV IT!! (and to be honest I couldn't run the darn machine if I wanted to)

the machine rattles off some funky jingle.....then I'm told to get my junk out of the washer and into the dryer........I tell her the settings.....she pushes the buttons and when dry I get handed a basket full of towels to fold......and told I'm not folding your MF towels!!! LUV IT!
