How to Make the Best (IMHO) Drying Towel Even Better

I really like my guzzlers for drying, but two of the ones I have are the extra large ones w/ the pockets at either end of the towel. I was lucky enough to receive these while at the Detail Fest (thanks Meghan, and yes I know you’re wanting on that other review). The only thing I don’t like about them is that they’re a little too big. After using them for about 4 months know I finally decided to go some alterations. I got my wife’s grandmother to cut them in half and hem them to prevent fraying. Now I’ve got 4 awesome guzzlers w/ pockets on each one. I’m going to be ordering 4 more big ones shortly to make me 8 new ones. Autogeek might want to look at make these themselves in the near future.

that's funny as hell........I did the SAME EXACT THING a couple of months ago:righton:

I use the smallest ones, and even those can completely dry a full sized car, I think I have collected about 10 of them, I love those things, as for the big ones, a friend of mine bought one and as good as it works, it seemed really hard to ring out being so big and they can hold so much. Sounds like a good plan, I'd be interested.

That is a really good idea. I love the pockets on the guzzler but it can be a bit large.

the pockets are just to put your hands in while drying. It can be hard to wrangle up what seems like a mile of towel.

Looks like grandma did a good job on the hem :applause: , but be careful of any threads that may cause marring.

I use the medium one without pocket, works great !

bradley lets see some pics of the truck with the lettering !!

I love doing the P21S chamois and following itup with the guzzlers.
