My home burned down yesterday

Terrible news indeed. This hurts to hear.

Awful news...very sorry to hear about your loss. Material items can always be replaced. Hang in there!
 
I'm terribly sorry to hear about that! Buildings and possessions can be replaced, but memories and family pets are priceless. The home I grew up in is gone now and my uncle just sold my Grandma's house, so all of my childhood memories are now someone else's, so I know the pain of losing those, but the shock of losing everything else has to be devastating. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you.

Glad no one was hurt, possessions can be replaced.

That's terrible news, especially for the loss of pets. Does the family have an idea of what caused the fire? I saw on the GoFundMe page they were renting. Did they carry renter's insurance?
 
Couldn't even imagine how terrifying that would be. Thoughts are with you & your family bud.

I hear ya. I bought the house I grew up in. I knew when I was 5 that I would be there forever.
