My last 3 details i did m3, z3 m coupe , toyota tundra

Hey guys,

Well it's been a while since I detailed a car and got back into it last month.
I did my car which is the blue M coupe and did 2 customers cars. On my car did a compound, polish and sealed it with wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. I also put the PBL glass coating on the windows. Don't mind the wheels next week going to be coating them too.
I used the Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant for all 3 details.
The M3 was in really bad shape. Paint was faded and dull and had so many scratches and swirl marks. Very happy with the outcome. The pictures don't do it justice.
The Toyota tundra was in decent shape just had some swirl marks and some deep scratches here and there. Most everything came out. But over all happy with the results and the customers were very happy.
Did an m5 also but didn't take any pictures of it.
Getting back into it and enjoying it again.

nice...I have a Tundra the exact same color.....just out of curiosity...how soft was the paint...and what products did you use on it?

The clear was petty soft. I used for the wolfgang uber compound 3.0 with a yellow pad and polished it with the wolgang glaze with a green pad. Didn't go too hard with the compound, just when I went over the deep scratches I put more pressure.

Haha I knew I recognized some of those shots. I'm on the Northshore now, but grew up over there and still go for work a few days a week.

thanks....my truck is pretty well maintained...mostly garage-kept and always washed (and dried) carefully....waxed regularly.....the defects on it are fairly light....bordering on moderate....gonna attack it with an AIO and a medium cut pad and see how that goes.....
 
Nicely done. They all look great. Especially the shoebox. Now about those wheels... Update us when the wheels are transformed.

What machine, pads, compounds/polishes used?

Thanks man,

I had a post done with those wheels 2 years ago lol But I'm going to definitely make another one.

The machine I used was the Cylco Orbital polisher
With Yellow pads for the compound and green pad for the polishing
Used Wolfgang uber compound 3.0
For the polish for my z3 m coupe and the M3 I used blackfire SRC finishing polish which is awesome
And for the tundra I used the Wolfgang finishing glaze 3.0.

I really do like the blackfire SRC finishing polish Gives the car a very deep wet look. Then topping it off with a sealant. can't beat that.

I'm Doing a black z4 sometime this week and a ford f150. Will post them up.
 
A little update with my Z3. Added a layer of BLACKFIRE BlackICE Hybrid Montan Sealant Wax and keep it up with a waterless wash once or twice a week as needed to make it easy to clean.
My next car is the Z4 i'll be coating it with the PBL paint coating V2. Will post it up when done.

Looks really good! I bet the Red BMW was fun! Is it me or does wolfgang seem alittle silverish when used? I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint sealant 3.0 .
And love it.
