youll have to post up the graph after you get back harleyguy

seeing it installed is the icing on the cake man! Do you have a stainless mesh screen on the turbo to prevent debris from hitting the blades? What are your driving impressions after having it installed.....

Edit: nvm, I see a filter screen on the turbo after looking at the pics again. Sick work.

thank you ryan. if i would have known the whole process i would have made the plug larger so the opening in the front would have been larger than the back of the headlight. in the pictures you can see its actually smaller, but oh well. yeah i have a two layer thick aluminum screen mesh to stop the bugs and birds, haha. i havnt driven with this yet. its actually up on the scales right now.

thank you all for the comments.

yeah, i only balance with respect to the two front corners, the back is just there for the ride and is too light to have any say in where the car tracks down the dragstrip.

but having a balanced front end on a fwd car is such a huge difference during the launch and especially during the second half of the track, no torque steer at all if its balanced well

just used aquawax for the first time on the car. it had a light light layer of dust so thought itd be a good idea to blow what i could off with the leaf blower then use aquawax.

as for the dyno numbers, we ended up drilling all the magnets out of the cam gear and replacing them with ferrous dowels and we are trying out a new hall effect sensor for Motec U.S.A. Plan to go to the track next weekend, if not the following weekend for sure with about 30 psi of boost.

here are some updated pictures. aquawax is pretty nuts!

Dude, you need to go for your ASE Master Tech license! Might take some time but the way you're Magyvering this stuff is just too impressive!

haha, thank you very much. it feels great to get compliments. my dad and grandfather have been mechanics all their life (they have had a shop/wrecking yard for about 45 years now). im still in school for pharmacy, but i really like doing welding/fabrication and of course detailing on the side.

Yeah, definately stick wtih the pharmacy program and do this other stuff on the side or personal enjoyment. The path you'e following, there's no way you're gonna end up in those long snaking lines, waiting/competing to flip burgers for a few bucks an hour. I see it on MSN all the time!

thank you for the encouragement! i really apprecaite it. i definately look up to my dad for doing that stuff for a living. its pretty stressful at times when you cant figure something dumb out.

What does having a ASE Master Tech license mean. It's just a test means nothing in the real world.I have and had techs work for me with or without any form of ASE means nothing it doesn't make you a better tech only shows you know how to take a test.Another form of the goverment taking hard earned money and giving you a worthless plaque in return.Oh and by the way i have been a Master tech for the better part of 30 years .Most dealers require all techs to have it since it has become the way of the world.Redboost has done more on his car and chatted to him about it .I would hire him before half the techs i have that have ASE .:offtopic:

Thank you Harleyguy. That means a lot. I have never even looked into ASE stuff and have not really planned to but I know just about everywhere up here in the nw requires it to even apply for the job. I am more worried about getting better at welding. But hopefully the pharmacy thing works out.
