Well it finally happened, after six years with no incidents, a first for me, the last was in 2003. Im still just so overwhelmed with it happening. First, lost a job, then a girlfriend, and now this, the only thing I had left that was keeping me sane. You know what they say, everything comes in thress, so hopefully this is the last for me and things will start turning around, anyways, its not as bad as it looks, could have been worse, but still sucks to me.

Not sure it will buff out, but ill just have to see. Me and an Exterra tried to merge into the same lane at the same time, and well it won, all that damage was just from the Exterras tire, i think there is a tire mark on the hood. Somehow in the mist of the accident the valve stem got pulled out the rim, thats why its on the temp in the pic, but got the tire fixed this morning, now just got to wait for insurance to see what happens next. Well at least i dont have to feel bad about washing it for a while.

Sorry about your luck, but remember you walked away from an accident. I'll take that anyday. Cars and yes girlfriends can be replaced. Be thankful for your health.

Ouch !!! Glad your okay and sorry to see your baby damaged as I know how that hurts !! Hope fully everything will turn around for you .

Hopefully you'll find a good body shop that will make it look as good as new. Consider yourself lucky, you still have your good health and your car suffered no structural damage, when going up against an SUV, thats not always the case on both counts. Thing's will start to look up soon!

looks like a little 105 and a rotary might help .... see the humor as it can only feel/get better tomorrow.

Hey sorry about that, glad you are OK.

Pretty amazing how these cars today just crumple up so easily. Looking back to old school cars they didn't crumple and held up very well.

However, the occupants took the impact force and not the car. So I guess it was doing everything it could to keep you safe and take the blow. :)

Hopefully you'll find a body shop with a super hot recepcionist that also needs someone to polish for then :dblthumb2:

Yeah, glad you're safe. This exact incident happened to me and my girl when we were driving earlier this month. Some girl on a cell phone merged into our turn lane in front of us and slammed in the front right fender.

That really sucks about the wheel having the stem busted off, I'm assuming the wheel was totally mauled to death. For the size of the vehicle you got in a wreck with, just be glad you're safe.

Women - replaceable, Car - replaceable, You - Not replaceable :(

I keep getting in wrecks with other people while I'm in their car, and keep hearing about it. It's only a matter of time before my Rx7 can't out manuever the next accident. I have the feeling I'll end up shooting someone when they wreck into my dream car :bash: Or just bludgeon them to death with my tire iron.

I just looked at your pics again. Those silly spare tires just make me giggle, they look so funny rolling down the street. At least they give you something to laugh about when it's all going bad. :D

Thanks for all the encouragement guys, I know Im probably making a bigger deal than it really is, but just in one of those rough patches everybody goes through in life, still just sucks cause the cars paid off and insurance just went down, anyways just gota keep faith that Gods got a plan. Anyways, i felt bad for my baby today so I gave her a good wash and wipe down. Water was still beeding off the side that was wrecked, of course were paint was left, lol, I even as far as to dress the tires, even the one on the damaged side, even shined up the black steelie, lost the hubcap on that side during the accident, think I heard someone dragging it down the road after the accident. All in all I guess it could have been worse and at least Im still breathing, and the car is still running, so just have to take it day by day. Thanks again guys.

Hang in there bro. You'll be excited to polish up that new fender before you know it. I know I was driving my body shop crazy calling them to check on the status of "Gus" while he was in the shop getting his bedside replaced.

At least it looks like that fender took most of the damage! Would be way way worse if it damaged the frame or door, etc!

Sorry to hear. I know I'd throw a big fit if that happened to me. I flipped out when I got a chip in the windshield of my last car. Can't imagine this!

GL man.
