that means ca, right?

Actually in this particular instance I was referring to Florida's west coast, but sure Cali people are good too. :)

Lauren, California is another world. When we talk about the west coast in Florida we are talking about the west coast of Florida. Florida are so great we have 2 coasts na!na!na!. :p

Sorry Dengood1 but 23 is cold. It's never got that cold down here. At least since I have live here. I don't really know what the record all time low is down here. The low Tuesday night here is suppose to still be in the 40's on the coast. :p

Oh, you were referring to the weather, not the people;) You're still only a couple hundred miles from me. I've seen it in the low teens here in the past.

The low teens! Wow! It never gets that cold down here by me. The mid 50's overnight is the average for my area when a front moves through.

Just kidding......thanks Gary.

Thanks again for the warm welcome all.

Well I was able to begin the long detail process today and honestly I wasn't too impressed with the results. I am sure it's because I'm a noob at the 7424, but for some reason I just thought the Optimum compound would perform better than it did.

The car does look a whole lot better, and the fine scratches are gone which is a big plus, but it appears I have some very fine water spots that will be more stubborn to get out. I will post about this experience in the other forum to get ya'lls thoughts on it.

Thanks!!!

What pad were you using? Did you use enough compound? You have to let it work in for a good 4-5 minutes per section. You may need to step up the pad.
