So I decided to combine DG 501 and Megs D151 on a MF cutting discs and see what the results would be. I figured Megs has the cut, DG has the cleaner and protection. I used speed 5.5 on a PC with a Megs MF cutting disc and was very satisfied with the results.

Wash - CG CW+G
Clay - Megs white
Clay lube - Megs LT
AIO - Megs D151 and DG 501
Wheels - Sonax FE
Wells/tires/Engine - Megs APC+ 10 to 1
Dressings - Megs ASD on tires, wells, and all exterior plastics
Engine - Megs WBD
Windows - Stoners IG (Bad water spots customer didn't want them removed $$$$$$)
Wheels - DG All Metal Polish

Interior:
Megs APC + - Brushed carpets and mats
Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel - leather and Vinyl
Megs WBD - entire interior

So, what do you think of your new formulation??? AMAZING!!! :props:

That Dodge came out great!! :props:

Love the creativity and the results are stunning.

Any issues running your MF cutting pads at speed 5.5? I realize the PCXP is under-powered but that speed with those pads sounds like a recipe for the adhesive to fail that holds the pads together.

Looks AWESOME!!! you are fortunate to have a black Dodge without clear coat failure...so many of them up here in New York Including my Dakota

that's a great idea, I used 501 last night actually and was underwhelmed by it's cut but impressed with it's cleaning ability and slick finish. So I thought of mixing with a mild polish and seeing the results you got I will be doing the same 501/151 mix next time.

That's because it's not a heavy cutting polish. Try mixing DG #271 Swirl Mark Remover with DG #501 since they contain the same polymers. Swirl Mark Remover is a very potent all in one but the gloss isn't what I like. Maybe the 501 will add the gloss?

Okay I think I'll give that a shot and just keep it in the duragloss family. Thanks for the tip Rich

Thanks, I was realy surprised at the results!

Wow the gloss is amazing right here!!

TY.

TY. No problems with the pad, from what I read issues with the Megs MF pads come from improper washing. I let mine soak in DP pad cleaner, then brush, then rinse with hot water and then let them dry on a grit guard MF side face down so the water doesn't soak into the adhesive.

That is some serious shine on that ram. Good work. How did you mix the product? Together on the pad or in the bottle?

On the pad. Prime the pad with D151 and then 2 dime size dots of D151 and 2 dime size dots of DG501. I was also surprised how easy it went on and came off.

Truck looks great by the way!

TY. I didn't have any DG Swirl Mark Remover but I do have aggressive polishes and copounds, I picked D151 because it has some pretty good cut, especially with a Megs MF cutting disc.

I'm SO delighted this worked out well for you. As I said in my PM, I wasn't sure how it would do as I had never tried that combo before. It looks great in the pics. I should have tried a similar mix in that Sierra I did a few weeks ago. Oh well, I didn't think of it. I don't do hardly any one steppers, but still, that's no excuse. Great job on the truck for sure!!

Thanx. Most of my customers don't wanna spend more than 200 bucks on any type of vehicle. For me to do a 5 step (Wash, clay, compound, polish, seal) on an Expedition or Tahoe......etc is not worth 200 bucks. The Ram took almost 9 hrs and a 5 step would have taken longer.

I was really amazed out how nice these two products worked together.

Correction I used Megs APC+ at 4 to 1 on tires/wells/engine,
APC+ 10 to 1 on carpets and mats, Megs WBD 1 to 3 on interior and engine.
