thanks guys. yah im going to get the intake gaskets replaced along with the flush, instead of having to pay for a flush twice, lol. I will hopefully do that before winter hits... just so there isnt a breakdown in the middle of winter, which would be my luck, lol.

and yes i need to change the tranny fluid.

For a little extra security, Lucas makes a great Trans additive to help with wear on parts. Make sure when you pay to get the flush done they do a thorough job or it will be worse than having dexcool in it now.

Thats good you have a good one, theres so many half azz con artist mechanics out there it's not even funny. Congrats again on the truck keep it GM lol love to hear people trading there Fords for GM.

It is a mixture of NEW oil, STP, and something else that is heated and it gets shot underneathe the truck, like a sandblaster, and covers the entire underside of your truck, he doesnt get the exhaust system and other things that should be covered in it. he does door jams and more. ITS AWESOME!!!!!!! lasts for a couple years at the least. and its only 65 bucks to have done here at our local spot and only takes an hour. Not too many people do this though. He does anything from Cars, RV's, Semi's, etc...
