My only complaint about AG...

...is the use of packing peanuts. These make a big mess when unboxing and are difficult to clean up due to static. Use of paper (recyclable) is much preferred.
 
I know we have had many posts about this but I will say it again for the new people we pack with Peanuts and Paper, if you prefer one over the other please leave us a note.
 
oh really? can I toggle the master switch for my account to only pack with paper?
 
I didn't know we could request our packing material but when my first round of autogeek packages showed up today, I was quite happy to see paper.

We pack with whichever we think is best for the items going in the box, or if the customer requests a certain way we pack with that request.

Good to know, because I had the same complaint. It would be better paper or biodegradable peanuts.
 
So we are all on the same page, at checkout there is a COMMENTS box, just put a note in there on what packing material you prefer.

Awesome I've been meaning to bring this up. Nice to know therre is an option. Those peanuts go everwhere.

Pack it with whatever you want as long as its does not spill and gets here in one piece , that s all that counts.

What about using the air filled plastic wraps, the real bubbly kind? That's another option if it's available.

We actually messed around with those a while back but they are not practical for what we ship.
 
My only complaint is I got so excited about my Griots DA that arrived today, I dumped the peanuts all over my office floor to get my hands on the goods!!!!! Now I just have to wait for my other order for AG to arrive with more goodies. Living in CA means a 6 day wait. :work:

Ask these people if they want someone to unpack it for them also, I worked in a warehouse and the peanuts is the way to go. I guess they won't realize this until they get something spilled everywhere when they open there package, the peanuts will be the least of there worries. Stick with what you guys are doing, if it is not broke don't fix it.:urtheman:
 
I've had peanuts every time and NEVER had anything in my boxes that have spilled. So I'll stick with peanuts, even though they are a pain.

Are the package peanuts able to be recycled?
