This is my 1996 Saab ng900 convertible (black of course
)
Its got around 32,000 miles on it right now, I bought it from my parents and of course, got very into detailing it. I have restored this car from an average 13 year old car to a stock looking 350hp sleeper. I basically decided to restore everything to brand new condition when I got it as my own november 2007. There are tons of hidden upgrades, try to find them
Obviously, I got into detailing very heavily. I enjoy it as my stress reliever, my car looks like this everyday haha. Anyways, it had been about a year since I polished it, so I polished this side, the trunk and the hood. I will do the rest in the coming week.
Process: since the paint is a 2 stage (except for the hood, a repaint), I was willing to polish a panel with a very gentle polish a few times to get it right. The paint only had very slight washing induced marring as the black is very soft
Products used:
PC 7424
Pinnacle XMT #1 (2-3 passes)
CCS white pad (5.5'' on most panels, 4'' on the tighter spots.)
Menzerna PO87mc
CCS Blue pad
Collinite 915
303 Aerospace protectant on the engine plastics
Im really sorry about the lack of pictures, no befores but the other side will be a fuller write up
