my second paid detail...

FMINUS... Back to black is a restorer and is horrible IMO... it lasts a rainfall maybe 2 and it's all gone, but at the time of a detail it makes the trim look new... Forever black has worked well for me, lasting up to 6-8 weeks through numerous rainfalls/washes... Forever black is a dye however and should be used more carefully... Meg's hyperdressing has worked well recently as well... haha sorry I just hate Back to black

Guido... the detail and the process both look good... I think you did a great job on making the paint look very wet + the job seems "completely complete"... no wax leftovers, streaks, etc... good job

The only thing I can suggest is taking before shots of any correction you did.
I'm not doubting your abilities, but any old scratched up car, especially silver, will look that good in that kind of lighting, even after a wash, let alone souveran :D

Thanks, Im trying to avoid dyes....

thanks for the advice... I was going to take before shots but somehow I forgot (the excitement i think) but I know that silver always looks good in those conditions. however, (I'm not trying to defend myself by no means, I'm new to this and every bit of advice helpsd) I did use their halogen lamps in their garage before I finished the polishing and such.... I think I got them pretty good...

thanks again....:grouphug:

Np... and I wasn't trying to offend you like I said... I too have skipped before photos on silver because the camera can't catch light swirls... I directed my comments more at your next detail and on a different color possibly... just something to think about I guess

no worries mate!!! I actually saw the car last night...(went to dinner with them) they absolutly love it....I was very happy to hear this. haha. looks like I'm doing their tundra when I get my next order from the Geek!!!
