So do you use it on the entire car, let it soak then rinse it off and finally wash your car like normal or what?

Depends on what I'm doing. If im polishing, I will do a presoak. Then rinse, and resoak and wash. If I'm using it while washing just use the pressure washer to blast the heavy dirt off then foam for a little extra insurance if I'm using it on that car. Works great for me for 20$

i dont have my own power washer, i rob my dads 2600 psi gas washer when i need to use it. my question is what is the cheapest electrical washer i can buy and use with this?

is it best to get whatever is at costco so i can return when it starts leaking?

You can find good basic pressure washers for around $100 at Home Depot, Lowe's, COSTCO, etc. They provide about 140 psi of pressure, which works just fine. You will need an adapter for the foam gun, as it comes with a quick connect for gas powered pressure washers. Overall they work pretty good. I use them in by detailing business.

No problem, that's the beauty of this forum, we are all here to help each other.

I can see some of the benefits of the foam guns but they sure seem to use a lot of soap. Not sure they are very cost efficent.

You don't put much soap in the dispenser..they are actually more cost efficient since they don't' use a bunch of soap.

Anyone looking to purchase a foam cannon Google (foam jet injectors) and you will find exactly what you are looking at a fraction of the price.

wow trevor that is a bad ass cannon!!!! do you own one? have any pics?

Yes I do own one and have been using it for over a year with no issues so far. The foam cannon came with a standard quick connect fitting already attached. I also purchased an extra bottle so that I don't cross contaminate my APC and shampoo.

sweet video! that stuff clings! could you answer a few q's about it? what ratio do you use? what soap? were you using an electric or gas pressure washer?

Yes, I am always happy to help a fellow Autogeek member.

Soap - Detailers Pro Xtreme Foam
Fill the bottle with hot water then add 1-2 ounces of shampoo. The amount of shampoo depends on how much water is added to the bottle. Filling the bottle half way with water and adding 1 ounce of shampoo is more than enough for a foam pre-soak during a regular maintenance wash.

APC - Optimum Power Clean
I usually use 2 ounces of OPC and add 1 ounce of Detailers Pro Rinsless Wash and Gloss to help increase the dwell time. The OPC alone doesn't foam as much or cling to the vehicle nearly as long as the shampoo does.

I use a Rigid 3000 PSI 2.6 GPM gas pressure washer.

sweet:) so all you have to do is pretty much buy empty hd bottles for whatever soap you want to use? is it a standard bottle?

whenever you have the time, if you could take a pic of a bottle attached to the wand that would be great!

Regular 32 ounce spray bottles will work and I can try to take a picture in a day or two.
