My solution to $150 foam guns...

ok so i was able to convince my dad to let me use the gas powered 2600 psi washer and he could use my 1600 psi electrical pw:)

i went to HD last night and picked up the Gfoam blaster. do you guys use only soap in the canister or do you mix soap and water in the canister???

what is your fav soap for foam:))))
 
is that your video w/the truck? if so what soap and ratio were you using?
 
That's not me, although it looks like something I would wear.

Someone said use 3oz of soap and the rest is water. How big is the canister?
 
10oz, the foam that guy got is awesome. i want to know what soap he used and at what ratio
 
I use 2 ounces of Detailer's Pro Series Extreme Foam Shampoo to 8 ounces of warm water in my G-force foam gun.

any pics or video of how that foam looks when you spray it at that ratio?
 
I wish I had viewed this thread before last week. I bought the Foam Cannon AG has to offer.:doh: Oh well, I'm sure I will enjoy it anyway.
 
Just picked on of these setups today. I had to buy the adapter kit as well. Price on the store shelf was higher, but I had the price from the HD site. They honored it and said they will change the shelf label.

Can't wait to try it out!
 
Just tried it, and with the Meg's Deep Crystal, foam was poor. But I'm finding out that the soap is poor all around. I'll have to try it with some other soap, or mixed with ONR.

i was able to get in touch with the guy from youtube. he uses 3oz gold class shampoo to get that foam:)
 
Thanks. I guess I should refresh the page before posting... Has anyone tried any other soaps? I wonder if the DP extreme foam or CG Maxi Suds are really that much better than a regular soap like Gold Class.
 
Went to hd to check out the setup and I like it. If it foams like the gentlemen in the YouTube video than It has my foam master beat.
 
This HomeDepot foam cannon is great!! I use meguiars wash & wax and it foams up great! Even on the high setting I did my whole truck and (08 dodge ram) had some left over!! For $20 well worth it!!!!
