Looks great mate...What was the preparation process??

Thanks guys!

For prep, not that my car really needed it, I went over the paint with some Menzurna Nano polish via my PC.

I think that the SN goes on and off with ease, it looks great! But...when I taped of few test panels off on both my TSX and on a black hood, paired against Megiuar's M26, I saw no visable difference. Maybe there is something I'm not seeing, and I know comparing test panels is not ideal, but I just can't justify the high price tag. I'd say at maybe $35 for the container would be a good deal, but when I paid $11 for my M26 and $200 for the SN, I'm just not seeing the value.

That being said, it does feel very cool driving around with a $200 wax on my ride! :righton:

I believe the new wooden container is V2???

Thanks for looking,
Rasky

Rasky,
Car looks wonderful!
That being said, you're one of the few (maybe the only) poster I've ever seen that, after buying into the hype (as you state it), has actually admitted the expensive wax looks no different then a "cheap" wax.
For example, when I read reviews and look at pics of a car with $1200 (or $100) wax on it I never see a poster admit he spent foolishly. Such posters' reviews are always "This is the best wax ever!".
Then again, I might be hesitant to admit I paid so much for a small tub of wax and admit to having buyer's remorse.

souveran is just as good as any wax.. up against swissvax i couldnt see really any difference.. its all in the prep work .no matter if you spend a grand of a hundred bucks on wax . nice job by the way!!

I think even Acura would have thought the red paint for that TSX could look good! Nice job.

Thanks you.

I actually bought the wax more for testing purposes than anything, though I was hoping to see a significant difference. I like trying out new products that people start buzzing about. I think the problem with high dollar waxes is that I think people fool themselves into thinking they look SOOO much better. Unless you compare it side by side with other waxes, how can one really know the mind is not deceiving you??? I was bummed that I couldn't see a difference but O-well.

I also want to point out that I'm in no way bashing SN, the wax looks great! I just simply don’t think it looks better than most my other waxes, which cost far less.

Rasky :buffing:

i bought swissvax because i like to try different waxes as well. but i knew it wasnt going to be$150.00 better shine then souveran .but its a nice wax and ill keep useing it along with my pinnacle waxes .. just to change it up ..

And this is why I'm still using my Mothers Pure Carnauba and Top Coat waxes. Though I'm hoping to try some DP Max Wax soon along with the sample of the Menzerna Sealer Wax that I have (maybe next week when the rain lets up!
