My Ultimate Detailing Thread

Very nice write up to get beginners started and learn the processes. I'm currently doing the same thing on Evoatlanta.com for some of my friend there. I'll be adding more to my thread there once I get into my new apartment and get a garage so I can take pics!:righton:

Here are the after pics from this morning.

Applied a coat of Souveran Spray Wax to prep it for it's shoot!

Nope. Trim is black textured plastic. 303 is one of the best protectants I've ever used. There's a reason why it is one of the highest UV protectants.

That doesn't matter, you can permanent polish them too
I didn't find it to do much on tyres (didn't last long)

Not real sure what you mean by "permanent polish." But that's ok, I like my 303, haha!

I can't speak for others, but I've rarely heard people using 303 on tires or rubber. It's more of a protectant for plastics and vinyl. Not really a "restorer" either like WOW or Black Again. I also use it a lot on customer cars for vinyl dashes and interior panels for those cars that only get serviced every few months.

I agree it's not the best trim product out there, but it does it's job above and beyond for what it's designed for. And that's to prevent fading by blocking out UV rays.
