Well guys this is my first post showing my work. Don't be too harsh now lol.

Well I first washed my wheels with the Pinnacle wheel cleaner and washed the tires with the BF APC. I then used iron X which to my astonishment didn't really have too much iron on them being on a 1999 car. I then rewashed the wheels and dried them. I used the Gritos garage wheel clay to clay the wheels. The wheels had a lot of contaminants on them. The wheels had some scratches, thanks to the shops mounting my new tires. So I used the WGUC with an orange pad. Followed that up with the PBL surface cleansing polish with a green pad . Then for the final touch I used the PBL wheel coating. Then the real final touch is the BF tire gel.
I'm really happy with the results seems I did it all by hand.
Hope you all like and thanks for looking.

Nice work! You'll love the PBL wheel coating, makes cleaning a breeze...

Very nice work Grady :)
When we worked on your car together we mainly focused on the paint, I had no idea they were that bad but you turned them back into new looking wheels.
I can only imangine how hard you worked on them.
Payed off:)

Im not trying to rag on bmw , but can any car manufacturers make it so that it is easy to clean a wheel?

Very nice work and nice pictures. :dblthumb2:

I think that goes for a lot of wheels used on cars of today.
On my RAV it takes time to get in there to clean it well, some are worst than others.

Lookin good! Rims can definetly be a pain but if the rims dont look good it throws off the whole car

Yea they had some light scratches and some deeper ones. the deeper ones I couldn't get out but got all the small ones out. yea I spent 12-15 hours on the wheels alone. my brother after the first 2 hours was like " you still just cleaning the wheels???" lol

Look Great....almost done.

A plastic razor blade and some Goof Off will remove the foam left when the old wheel weights were removed.

Dont forget to apply second coat after 24 hours...

Thanks for letting me know about that. I was wondering what to use to get that stuff off.

Yea I didn't have time to do it 2 weeks ago. right after that I detailed my brothers car and that took me all weekend. and this past weekend went on vacation. so it's going to be this weekend that I'll put a second coat.
