So here's the first project I mentioned before.

Here's the work area I setup for detailing within the garage. Yes the cabinets are stacked with products from sponsors, and quite a bit of my own personal materials.

First detail for profit. There was some clear coat dmg inflicted by a "detailer with a whool pad" at the Mercedes dealership. It's being cleared after I finished detailing it (dont ask) So I stayed FAR away from those panels.

There's also some dmg to the plastic trim around the bumpers that I couldnt do anything about.

Im not going to wax it (Fuzion) untill the P&B boys are done with it.

For my first time with a rotary on an actual car I think it came out pretty decent, granted....Not a very "showy" color.

Quick question. On interiors. What do you guys usually do with the stuff people leave on the seats in the car? I put them exactly as I found them, but It seems to me that kinda takes away from the "just been detailed" look/feel. Any advice is welcome.

Thanks for reading guys! :xyxthumbs:

Im going to try to get more pictures of the Interior and Engine detail. Stay with me.

Sorry no before shots.

I am very happy you are sharing some photos of the Wounded Warriors Garage, such a great organization and we are so happy to see things going well there.

If they have any belongings that they leave on the seats and floors I put them into a box and then place them in the trunk. Otherwise it might look like you did not do anything.

Haha, yea im trying. I've talked to Janis about it, so it looks like im going to be working on getting the Operation Comfort website a little more updated, and active.....Im sure my great forum members will help me with getting some traffic through there!

I'm going to start a thread somewhere on the forums keeping everyone updated on things, sort of like a blog, but with pictures! Im sure you guys will like that.

I hope everything turns out as planned.

Get some large Zip-Lock Bags, like the gallon sizes and place items inside car and inside trunk into these bags and seal them. After you're finished with the detail project place the bags in the general location your found the items and point out to the owner what you did.

Nice work and thank you for sharing...

I remember my first paying job. 1974 Buick electra 225, white in color with tar going down the entire right side. I spent an entire day cleaning this thing. Matter of fact, I had it so long the lady was 15 minutes away from reporting it stolen. My fee was $35

Congrats on landing this job. Its one you'll probally never forget

I box up every single thing that is in the interior. I want it to look as much like new as possible. The only thing I don't mess with are the contents in the console and glove box unless instructed otherwise

Good luck my freind :props:

I do the same. I always keep small boxes around my garage just for this reason. I empty everything out and put it in the box. I've actually had a couple complaints that I didn't put everything back, but I just think you should expect your stuff to be moved if your having it detailed. And I really think that half the time people don't even realize what they have in their cars.

This is what I do,and if they leave thier sunglasses in the car i clean them also and set on the dash opened up in front of the steering wheel.

at master detailers we put all there stuff in a bag and thats what we do on cars boats and rvs. 99% of the time they get rid of 70% of it lol and didnt know they hade all that stuff in there

If it's anything of any value I'll stash it in my detail van until I get it home then I'll sell it on eBay or craigslist. That will teach them to clean out the vehicle before I get there! :props:

Thats pretty funny. Scary thing is, I'm sure there are guys out there who really do that.

Every now and again we will get to detail for a big time celebrity. We always find stuff in their cars such as sun glasses, a jacket, their kids drawing, etc... Once I took a jacket out and quickly handed to a new helper I recently hired. I whispered, "quick put this in the van. I'm going to put it on eBay" His eyes got huge and he asks, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!!" LOL! I wasn't serious but it was a good laugh.
