Well, being busy doing other people's cars has negated time for my vette. It's a daily driver in the Summer
I wanted to do a brief review also on the products I've used while I'm at it...
This was a particular simple detail. I say that because I didn't use my PC at all on this one
Last Saturday:
-I did a quick wash and shampoo the exterior with Duragloss
-Wiped down with Prima Slick QD
-Applied JW Acrylic Jett:Trigger (Paint Sealant)
AJT is becoming one of my favorite Sealants. It really is easy to apply and remove, it feels like a QD, but it comes to a nice haze when it's drying. It removes very softly while leaving a nice shine
Monday:
-Washed the car again, and hit it with Prima Slick QD
-Poorboys Natural Look inside engine bay (Black plastic parts) -Excellent stuff. I do like this stuff
-Westley's Bleche Wite on tires; been using for a couple of weeks, and it really has some punch to remove layers of grimm from your tires. Using a brush, will really clean them up
The instructions says to keep it away from your paint, glass, and any other non-rubber material, so use caution if you have wheels that are uncoated, polished, chromed, etc...
Tuesday:
Washed yet again just plain water to sheet off dust
-I decided to clean up my hood liner. No before pics, trust me, it needed a bath
I sprayed it down with 303 Cleaner, and Zep APC at full strenght, just some light mist. I had covered the engine and front CAI with a large plastic bag to keep water off the electronics. I run some clear water to wash away dust, and dirt. Left hood open to dry
I did the inside of the hood (painted area) with JW Gloss: Quick Detailer
I cleaned the wheels with JW Prime, and topped with Rejex
I proceeded to wipe down the car with Prima Slick QD;
I've been using this QD for about two weeks, and it's by far the best QD I've ever used. Really easy to use, no streaks, applies and removes like a dream...and it makes you look forward to use it every time you've got a chance. That good in my opinion; It's a polymer-fortified quick detailer, no silicone, and you can use it on glass, and plastic
Here are some pics I took today...
Any questions on the products I've used, please feel free to ask... :burnout:
