Mystery Box is BACK and BETTER Than Ever! (Now with 3 Boxes!)

Just got home from work late tonight and had to stay kinda quiet because the wife and baby are sound asleep. Didn't take any pictures but I'm pleased with my $100 haul:

8oz can of XMT Carnauba wax
16oz Pinnacle Leather Cleaner and Conditioner (don't have any leather, but might spruce up the in-law's cars)
Pinnacle Black Label Leather and Vinyl Coating
32oz DP Power Wash
DP clay bar
3 DP odor eliminator cans in different flavors
16oz XMT Fine Swirl Remover
3 Blue Miracle Towels
7" Megs cutting pad
Bug sponge
Detailing Brush
Several Applicators
McKee's 37 360 AIO

It has to go back in the box because we're moving next week but I'm looking forward to all the new goodies to try. More motivation to buy a DA polisher soon since I have a swirl remover and AIO to use now!

Well done, Nick! This newbie has a nice stockpile of products to try now.

I got the creeper stool to. Whats funny is that is not an item I would have probably ever purchased. However, I am sure I will enjoy using it. I have been using a 5 gal bucket as my seat for doing the sides of cars. And I always put product down someplace in between sections and then have to try and find it amid the clutter in my garage. No more!!

You are going to love the stool. After you have used it, you will realize what you have been missing out. No more getting up to move the bucket to change spots.

Exactly. And I can keep everything i need on the stool! The product, pad brush, wipe off towels. And its padded! Will definitely make things easier.

Man, I'm totally jealous.. Just started getting into detailing so almost doubling the value of purchased box is huge! Gonna keep my eye open for the next "mystery box" for sure.

McKee 37 waterless
A lug brush
Diamondite plasti care
3 microfiber
Some yellow sponge that's hard

All in all I feel meh. The only things I'll be using is the lug brush and max wax. Maybe the mckee waterless and the microfibers. Otherwise I'm not really too stoked on my order

The yellow sponge is probably for bug removal.

This wax has always been a hidden gem. Your'e going to love it!

McKee 37 waterless

Not only is this (McKee's 37 Waterless Wash On The Go) an awesome product, but once you "discover" how quick and convenient a waterless wash is, you'll be hooked.

A lug brush

Unless the leaky gas line across the street is finally starting to get to me, the "lug nut" brush you received is actually our new Famous Detailing Brush. You can use this on lug nuts, interior detailing (vents, buttons, etc), cleaning emblems, etc. It's a very nice brush with a thousand and one uses.

Diamondite plasti care

Great product for making your headlights and taillights POP. Also works well for cleaning instrument clusters and LCD screens.

3 microfiber

Can never have too many microfiber towels!

Some yellow sponge that's hard

That would be a bug sponge. Have you never had to remove bugs off your vehicle?

A calender

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the Autogeek Calendar. Not only is this a great complement to your desk at work or home, but it's filled with sales and promotions!

A waterbottle

HMMMM I think you're referring to a "squeeze bottle." Fill this with compound, tire gel, leather conditioner, etc. Did you receive 3 of them?

All in all I feel meh. The only things I'll be using is the lug brush and max wax. Maybe the mckee waterless and the microfibers. Otherwise I'm not really too stoked on my order

Hopefully my explanation/insight on each respective product found in your $50 Mystery Box increases your excitement. :)

Thank you nick for the explanation.
As for the water bottle, it's a waterbottle. Like a water bottle for drinking water bottle lol.
And the bug sponge, I'll probably give it to a friend, I'm not so sure about using it on my paint
Although I'm very fond of the microfiber, but it's lining alot

Well the box arrived today.... I am kind of let down overall and I will explain why. I am new to the autogeek world I was a avid user of adams products prior to this. I read the thread and it said anyone could use what arrives in the box. I have a Meg's pad that I can't use along with swirl remover that will not get used, my polisher set up is for a 5.5 not a 6.5 pad and i use the entire boss system approach so I don't see me using the swirl remover. Not everyone has a polisher is why these items confused me some. I got a nice tumbler water bottle which will get used not for detailing though, it is great for marketing the autogeek name so I get the idea here and I will use it so im ok with this. I got a bobble head, I don't own a detail business with a storefront nor do I have a dedicated home office, it definitely won't help clean or detail a car this is totally useless to me. I got the roller chair which is a nice unit, I have a gravel driveway and it's not going to roll so this is why I never purchased one and why this item is totally useless to me. The items I have wrote about are not geared towards a product everyone can use so it's hard to wrap my mind around why they are in the mystery box in which the thread stated everything included will be able to be used by everyone who purchases a box. I will use the gallon of shampoo and clay bar often which is great. I was very happy to see the pinnacle black label sealant this is what a mystery box is all about now. I got various microfibers which is awesome nobody alive can own to many great towels. I got multiple rinseless products which is great but I'd rather have 2 new products vs 2 brands of rinseless solution. I love the detailing brush I was about to buy one the other day for interior work as I have a dedicated lug brush that wil never see the inside of a vehicle. The odor eliminator can x3 is again nice but typically I can't use these products due to the odors giving my family headaches and if I detail a vehicle on the side I am not sure if the owner will enjoy what smells. I like the 2 bug sponges and the sample shampoo both will be used. The plastic care aerosol I will have to research on some not entirely sure how or when it gets used, great addition for a box though try new things. I also got a wolfgang sealer type product which will get used. I got the 100 box and the 50 box I understand I got more stuff than the money i paid but I won't use a portion of this box and I would of been better off buying products and tools by myself I think. Maybe I misunderstood the idea of the box but I thought everything in it could be utilized by anyone of any skill level or tools that help clean the vehicle. I am just meh about the mystery box and kinda bummed I guess. But we live and learn I reckon.

For any product anyone isn't going to use, those are great for your trade arsenal. List them in the SAMPLES thread and trade them for something you want. Easy as pie.

I think the whole purpose of the "mystery box" is to roll the dice so to speak and take a chance on some products that you may have never tried or purchased before. In reading your post you seem to be happy with many of the products you received. I am sure that many people got products that they don't "think" they are going to use but that is kinda the whole purpose behind the mystery. If you could pick all of the products in the box what fun would it be to receive it.

For the most part it appears to me that every one is thrilled over the products they received and more value than what they spent.

I love the product portion no doubt and also the detailing tools. But if you add up the roller and bobble head thing that I got a good amount of my box wasted. I would rather get products or tools or tons of towels. If the pad fit my polisher I might use it but it doesn't fit. My point was they were said to be for everyone and include things you can use. You can't use a bobble head or water bottle to clean with. And lots of people can't use the polisher pad
