I'm currently looking into a hot water extractor. I have been looking into two models that seem to be somewhat in my price range.

Mytee only has a one year warranty
Clean freak Sandia has a 5 year warranty

Mytee 130+ inches lift
Clean freak Sandia 96 inches lift

Both heat water 200 degrees
Both have 15 foot hoses
Both have 100 cfm fan motor
Both have 3 gallon tanks
Mytee 120psi
Cleanfreak Sandia 55psi

Price difference
Mytee $599 plus $45 shipping
Cleanfreak Sandia $645 minus 5% plus $32 shipping and minus $25 MasterCard gift with purchase.

$644 mytee
Or
$618 Sandia

well its a hard decision but when you have a warranty for 5 years and at a cheaper price i would go with the clean freak sandia

:iagree:

I'm leaning towards the Sandia also.

I have the non heated CleanFreak extractor for $349 and love it. I have a garage sink right next to my water heater so I am good for hot water, but you can get a bucket heater and do the same.

Only issue I worried about was the possibility of messing something up. One guy was trying to explain to me that using hit water in cold water extractor might damage it?

Still debating on these:

Sandia nonheated $349 shipped
Sandia Heated $618 shipped
Mytee II lite heated $645 shipped

Will the heat vs non heated make cleaning easier, faster, etc..? Will the roughly $275 make a difference over the nonheated?

Will the mytee 120psi pump excel over the 55psi Sandia? I know the water coming out that hard is basically your agitation.

bought the Mytee Lite from detail king today
$599 was a great price

That was a good choice going with the heated as long as you have the amps for it.

I think you made a good decision however the mytee lite II doesn't have 137 inches of water lift. The Mytee HP 60 and 100 do. If I'm not mistaken it has just shy of 90.

I love my clean freak unit it has been great to me and its a cold water unit but i always you hot water.

runs on a 15 amp. I have 20 amp breakers

The manual says it requires a 20 amp circuit, so you are good.

No two sources seem to give the same performance numbers on the Mytee machines, but the Lite was upgraded to a three stage and should have 130 or 137" of lift if it's a new machine.

where can we get the sandia from, not seeing it

new three stage motor has more lift which is the 130 on their site. Then again, manf. lie about specs :props:

I almost bought that one.

I hope so. lol

Just saw on mytee site where they say 130" of water lift. AG is still selling the ones with 85". Just looked on Detailking and there combo packs says 102". Regardless I hope you get the most lift possible!

AG doesn't stock any Mytee units; they drop-ship from the manufacturer, so if Mytee is supplying 130" of lift, so is Autogeek. As I noted earlier, there seems to be no source that quotes the same specs on these machines. There was a thread some months ago where some of this came up (including the circuit ampacity required for various Mytee units) and Nick said he would add to/update the relevant pages but it looks like he hasn't.

Just talke to Nick Vacco, the owner of detail king. He assured me that I will be getting the same unit that Mytee sells to them. The newer model with the three stage vacuum.
