Myths In Detailing ?~?~?~?~?

I think it's a preference. Many people use all of those will zero problems.

I was thinking of getting Opt mitt for my ONR washes!

I like the opti-mit on horizontal surfaces (too much water drain on vertical) and the LC Blue sponge of vertical. Somebody suggested using a utility knife to score a grout sponge($1.79) into little squares like the LC sponge. I have actually done this but haven't had a chance to try it yet
 
That detailing was an inexpensive hobby.....NOT:laughing:
 
That doing a hand wash and then waxing was 'detailing'.

That only dealers and body shops had the equipment to detail really 'right'.

That OTC waxes were as good as it gets for the average person.
