Mz SF 4500

I just got some Menzerna 4500 to follow MG 205. I'm using Flex 3401 and have LC white and black pads.
It's my first time with the 4500. Any suggestions on how I should apply it??

Agreed. Black is the right pad for SF4500.

Why do you need two finishing polishes?
 
Not to hijack, but what about the SF4000? Black pad as well? Or green or blue?
 
I would normally go with black also. SF 4000 and 4500 are both similarly fine grades of finishing polish. The 4000 has just a bit more cutting ability. If that doesn't quite do the trick you can then try the white pad. There is a menzerna chart in the website that helps with the pad decision. Also not sure which green or blue pads your talking about. Lake Country?

I agree you don't need both. M205 has more correcting ability and with enough practice, M205 can finish down as good as P4500 for a third the cost.

Did you purchase the 4500 with the purposefulness to 'jewel the paint'?

If so:

I use the white hybrid pad & flex 3401 with 4000 - three pea size drops of product on a primed pad, you'll get great results.
